Frequently asked questions
Why did the boom barrier fail to go up?
If your number plate payment or bizz is inactive, the boom barrier will not go up.
This may be because your payment card has expired. Always remember to check that you have a valid payment card before you cross the Storebælt Bridge.

Why did my number plate or bizz fail to work?
If your payment card has expired, your bizz or number plate will not work and you will be unable to use it for payment on the Storebælt Bridge. Please remember to check that your payment card is updated.
Please also be aware that if your bizz is more than 5 years old, it may have reached the end of its working life.
How to drive through the toll station
Number plate payment or a bizz allows you to drive through the express lanes at the toll station without stopping.
The number plate or bizz will be automatically read at the toll station and payment will be deducted. You may drive no more than 50 km/hour through the express lanes.
