eTicket

eTicket

With eTicket you can order one or two journeys for your vehicles. The product is suitable for number plates from a number of countries and it can be used on bridges and ferries in Denmark and Sweden.

Why choose eTicket

N.B: The product can be ordered from 18 March 2024. Find a guide here.

  • It’s easy if you have a vehicle that is only used occasionally. You order and the driver simply has to drive.
  • eTicket can be used in the lanes for automatic payment on bridges and ferries in Denmark and Sweden where you normally use number plate payment.
  • The product links up with the vehicle’s number plate so there are no actual bizzes to deal with.
  • You only pay for the eTickets you use. If you order a ticket that is not used, it will automatically be cancelled after 14 days with no payment incurred.
  • You will qualify for a Green discount if the vehicle is entitled to it and the number plate is from Denmark, Sweden, Norway or Lithuania.

Which vehicles can you order eTickets for?

eTicket can be ordered for all vehicles with a number plate from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey, Malta and Rep. North Macedonia.

NOTE: It is important that you drive in the correct lane in the toll booth on the Storebælt Bridge. See more below.

How to use an eTicket

If you have a vehicle with a number plate from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania and Germany, you must follow the steps below:

  1. If there is a bizz in the vehicle, it must be packed away in a foil bag before the driver approaches the toll station.
  2. Use the green express lanes when you arrive at the toll stations on the Storebælt Bridge
  3. The number plate is automatically read and the barrier opens if there is an active eTicket on the vehicle's number plate.
  4. If you are boarding a ferry, use the lanes for automatic payment with a bizz or number plate payment.

N.B.: If you have ended up in one of the blue or yellow lanes, click on 'Number plate' on the touchscreen in the payment lane. The number plate will then be read and the barrier will open if there is an active eTicket for that vehicle.

If you have a vehicle with a number plate from Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Turkey , Malta and Rep. North Macedonia must follow the steps below:

  1. If there is a bizz in the vehicle, it must be packed away in a foil bag before the driver approaches a toll booth.
  2. Drive in the yellow cash lane when you arrive at the toll booth on the Storebælt Bridge.
  3. When the driver reaches the facility, he must press the red button with the text 'Help'. You must then point out that you have an eTicket, and the barrier will then be opened.
  4. If you want to board a ferry, you must drive in the lanes for automatic payment with bizz or license plate.

How to drive on the Øresund Bridge

On the Øresund Bridge, vehicles from all countries can drive through the green express lanes.

What should we do if we have purchased one trip but we need two trips with the same vehicle?

If you have purchased a single trip eTicket and find that you need two trips with the same vehicle, you can do one of the following.

  • Delete the eTicket you have booked before taking the trip. After 1 hour, you can book two trips for the vehicle.

  • Drive the booked trip and then wait and book another trip. Please note that if the booked trip has been used over the Storebælt Bridge, you can only book a new trip for the same vehicle after 4 hours.
If the booked trip has been used over the Øresund Bridge, it will take up to 24 hours before you can book a new trip for the same vehicle.

Please note:

  • Only customers registered to pay by invoice can order eTickets.
  • eTickets have an expiry date.
  • You can't order an eTicket for a vehicle registered for number plate payment and vice versa.
  • If you have driven over the Storebælt Bridge and used your eTicket, you cannot subsequently use it on the Øresund Bridge and vice versa. An eTicket is only valid for one trip on one bridge.

From 18 March 2024, you can log in to the self-service system and order eTickets. You can read the terms of the new product here on brobizz.com before 18 March.
