I want to cross the Storebælt Bridge

On the Storebælt Bridge, you can use both number plate payment and bizz as automatic means of payment.

As a new customer at Brobizz, you are automatically signed up for the Storebælt Bridge discount agreement, Storebælt Private Agreement, at no extra cost. This means that you always get the best prices in the green express lanes, and your payment is made automatically at the toll station.

The list price for crossing the Storebælt Bridge in a regular car under 6 meters is DKK 275 in 2024. With a Storebælt Private Agreement and an automatic payment solution (number plate payment or bizz) for regular cars, you pay DKK 196, which means you save DKK 79.

For more prices at Storebælt, see here.

You automatically save even more if you cross the bridge during a time when the leisure discount applies. The leisure discount includes the Weekend discount, Public Holiday discount, or Evening discount.

The different vehicles

For you with a motorcycle

If you're crossing the Storebælt Bridge on a motorcycle, you must use the blue 'card' lanes or the yellow 'cash' lanes for safety reasons, regardless of whether you want to use a bizz or number plate payment.

When you get to the barrier, you activate your bizz or number plate payment by selecting 'bizz' or 'number plate' on the touch screen in the payment lane.

You will also have the option to pay by card or cash if you don't have an automatic payment agreement.

For you with a motorhome

If you have a motorhome over 6 metres and weighing a maximum of 3500 kg, you can register it with Storebælt and get a discount on your trips over the Storebælt Bridge, when you pay with your number plate payment or bizz from Brobizz.

For you with a trailer

If you drive over the Storebælt Bridge with a trailer, the total length of the vehicle including trailer will automatically be measured in the toll booth, after which the price will be adjusted accordingly.

The total length applies from the front number plate of the car to the rear edge of the trailer. The section between the rear bumper of the car and the front of the trailer is therefore also included in the measurements.

For you with a foreign registered vehicle

Please note that number plate payment from Brobizz is not yet possible for foreign registered vehicles. However, you can use a bizz for your foreign car to get a discount to cross the Storebælt Bridge, where you can sign up for a discount agreement.

For you who commute

If you cross the Storebælt Bridge more than 14 times in 30 days, you automatically get a commuter discount.

If you commute in a regular car, the price is DKK 196 per trip, for the first 14 trips in a calendar month. After that, you will pay DKK 0 per trip, for the rast of the month. If you cross the Storebælt Bridge more tham 50 times that month, you will pay DKK 196 again per trip.

You can order the Storebælt Commuter agreement for number plate payment or bizz from Brobizz.

Did you update your payment card?

Make sure your payment card is up to date before departure. If, for example, your card has expired, your bizz will be inactive and the boom will not go up in the toll booth.

You will only get your discount on the Storebæltsbroen when your bizz or number plate payment is active.

How do I update my payment card?

Register to number plate payment

Make the trip over the Storebælt Bridge even easier by signing up for number plate payment from Brobizz. With number plate payment, you don't have to take your bizz with you on the move, as you pay automatically with your number plate at the toll booth.

If you are registered with both number plate payment and bizz, your bizz will be prioritized as a means of payment. If you want to pay with the number plate, you must therefore ensure that your bizz can't be registered. You can advantageously pack it in the accompanying case you received whit your bizz.

Time to replace your bizz?

Over time, your bizz runs out of power, and then it needs to be replaced with a new one to still be active. If you hear four beeps from your bizz when you drive over the Storebælt Bridge, it may be time to replace it.

If you change your bizz, your appointments with the Storebælt Bridge will be moved automatically to your new bizz.
