Road tolls will be expanded in 2027

Order a Toll Box

Expansion expected from 5 January 2027

The Danish road toll is expected to be expanded from 5 January 2027. This means that more businesses may need a solution for paying road tolls.

Although the final rules are not yet in place, we recommend that you start preparing now.

Road transport

Which vehicles will be affected?

The expansion is expected to apply to vehicles used for transporting goods with a technically permissible maximum weight between 3,501 and 12,000 kg.

Zero-emission vehicles weighing more than 3,500 kg and up to and including 4,250 kg are expected to be exempt from the road toll. These will typically be electric vans, which are heavier than equivalent diesel vans due to their batteries.
