Why are we cancelling your number plate payment
We check our customers’ vehicle data in the Danish Motor Register to reduce errors – for example, if a vehicle is still registered to a previous owner.
We cancel the number plate payment if a change to the vehicle has been registered. This may include:
- Change of ownership
- Changes to the vehicle (for example, installation of a tow bar or a particulate filter)
- Other updates to the vehicle registration
We cannot see which specific change has been made – only that a change has occurred.
Has your number plate payment been cancelled by mistake?
If you have not changed the ownership of the vehicle, the cancellation may be due to a minor update in the registration.
You can quickly reactivate your number plate payment. It is free of charge, and it will be active again within 20 minutes on the Storebælt Bridge and within 24 hours with other partners.
