What do we do if our box is inactive or broken?

It is important that you always drive around with an active box in the car

Therefore, it is important that you take action if the small light on the box turns red.

It is important that you always drive around with an active box in the car, therefore we recommend that you react immediately if the box for some reason does not work as it should.

What do we do if our box is deactivated?

Your box can be deactivated for several different reasons. The small light on the box will blink red and give you an error message indicating the reason for the deactivation.

Why has the light on the box turned red?

If you have deactivated the box yourselves

If you have deactivated the box yourselves, the light will be red. You can reactivate the box in the self-service. When you reactivate the box, make sure it has all the necessary vehicle information; otherwise, the light on the box will continue to be red and cannot be used.

If the box is missing vehicle details

If the box is missing vehicle details, the light will be red. You must update the vehicle details in the self-service. Once the box has been updated with the correct information, it will work again.

If the box is missing GPS signal

If the box is missing GPS signal, it will light up red. Wait for the box to re-establish the GPS signal before driving further.

Outages in the GPS signal, which result in the Toll box switching from green to red light, do not incur fines, as the toll system automatically compensates for short-term outages. If the GPS signal is lost for more than an hour and the Toll box lights up red, you must respond by pulling over at the next safe place.

Try to resolve the issue or purchase a Toll ticket before continuing the trip.

If you have outstanding issues with Brobizz

If you have outstanding issues with Brobizz, or if it has not been possible to charge your credit card, your box will be financially deactivated. The box will be reactivated once you have paid your outstanding amounts.

What do we do if our box is broken?

If your box does not turn on, you should first check that it is connected to a power source. If this is the case and it still does not turn on, it's maybe broken.

If you think the box is broken, you should promptly contact Brobizz through our contact form here.

We recommend that you use our Toll App or purchase a Toll Ticket until your box is working again.

If you have to return your Toll Box:

It may be necessary for you to return your box to us. You will receive more information about this once you have contacted us.
