The total price for the road toll per kilometer driven consists of three different components: Infrastructure, CO2, and air pollution and noise.
The price for infrastructure covers the wear and tear that occurs when trucks drive on the roads.
The price for CO2 covers the CO2 emissions from trucks.
The price for air pollution and noise covers the impact these have.

The price in the low emission zones is 50% higher than the rest of the road network. This is because the many residents in these areas are extra exposed to air pollution and noise from truck traffic.
