What is a Green discount?
The Green discount was launched on the Storebælt Bridge on 1 January 2021 and is offered to green commercial vehicles which meet Euronorm 6 or are hydrogen or electric powered.
The green discount is an immediate discount of at least 13% per journey across Storebælt, which is only available to business customers who 'drive green', have a Storebælt Business Agreement and use automatic payment – a bizz, eTicket, number plate payment, Toll Box or Toll App.
N.B. if you do not enter the correct vehicle details on your products, you will not receive a discount. The discount is not given retrospectively.

As a customer, you are responsible for ensuring that your products carry the correct information about your vehicle. Otherwise, you risk getting a fine and having to repay the discount difference.
Storebælt checks the registered information and if there are discrepancies between the registered data and the vehicle itself, A/S Storebælt can issue a surcharge of DKK 600 per journey driven on an unjustified discount.
Get a Green discount with existing products
As a main or account administrator, you can log in at any time and check that all your products carry updated vehicle information so you have the opportunity to obtain a Green discount on the Storebælt Bridge. Follow the guide below to update your product’s vehicle information.
Follow these steps:
Log in at brobizz.com
Log inSelect the ‘Products’ tab from the menu on the left to get an overview of the products to which you are entitled.
Click the green ‘Filter’ button and add the filter ”Don’t have a green discount” to customise the view.
Click on the line showing the product that you wish to add vehicle information to or wish to amend.
You can now change information about the vehicle: Vehicle type, fuel and euronorm. If you need to add or correct vehicle information on a bizz, you can also change the country, number plate and chassis number.
Click the green button 'Save changes' at the bottom of the page to finish. It may take up to two hours for the change to take effect at the Storebælt Bridge.
How to upload documentation to get a Green discount
You need to upload documentation to obtain a Green discount, if the vehicle is not registered in one of the seven following countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Holland and UK.
Log in at the self-service and check that the correct vehicle information is registered for the products in question and also upload a copy of the vehicle’s registration certificate on the product overview for the individual product.

Open the product details by clicking on the relevant product line.
Click on ‘Upload documentation’ in the box headed ‘Documentation’ and select registration certificate.
Click on the green button ‘Save changes’ at the bottom of the page to finish.

Storebælt has harmonised the prices for the classes across private and business customers and removed the administration for the Green Discount for light vehicles.
Should we enter vehicle information for our products in Self Service if we are not eligible for the Green discount?

For light commercial vehicles, registering vehicle information for the product has no impact on the Green discount, as these vehicle types are no longer eligible for the Green discount.
For heavy vehicles, we recommend entering the vehicle information for the product if the vehicle meets the requirements for the Green discount, as this is required to obtain the discount.
Please note: If you need to use a bizz in Norway, you must enter the correct vehicle information on the bizz.

If vehicle information has already been entered for a product, it cannot be deleted - only replaced. For example, if the user of the bizz gets a new car, the vehicle information must be updated with the new details. Therefore, we recommend keeping the vehicle information up to date on products where vehicle information has already been registered.

As the Green discount has been abolished for light commercial vehicles, it does not matter whether the car crossing the bridge matches the vehicle information registered on the product. When paying with a bizz, number plate payment, or eTicket, you will automatically be charged the Express price.

Vehicles without the Green discount: If the vehicle is not eligible for the Green discount, it is irrelevant which vehicle is entered on the product compared with the vehicle that crosses the bridge. The customer pays the same as the card-and-cash price.
Vehicles with the Green discount: If a vehicle is eligible for the Green discount, the vehicle crossing the bridge must match the vehicle entered on the product. If the information does not match, you will not receive the Green discount and will instead pay the card-and-cash price.
