Hvor og hvordan for tunge køretøjer

Where and how for heavy-duty vehicles

Special rules apply when you use BroBizz in vehicles weighing more than 3500 kg – i.e. lorries, buses and motorhomes. In some cases you cannot pay with your BroBizz when the vehicle weighs more than 3500 kg, while in other cases you are required to have an OBE – e.g. BroBizz.

In this guide, you will find an overview of how you can get the most out of an agreement with BroBizz A/S, depending on where you are going to use BroBizz.

  • Storebælt

At Storebælt, you can pay with BroBizz, regardless of the vehicle’s size. It may be a good idea to sign up for a BroBizz Business agreement to receive a discount. Read more on Storebælt’s website

However, if you drive with special transport, special guidelines apply. Read more about abnormal loads at Storebælt

  • Øresund

At Øresund, you can pay with BroBizz, regardless of whether the vehicle is over or under 3500 kg. However, you will get a significantly lower price and access to great deals if you sign up for a BroPas Business agreement. You can link the agreement with your BroBizz so you don't need several OBEs in the vehicle. Read more about BroPas Business on the Øresund Bridge website (only in Danish or Swedish).

  • Norway

All vehicles over 3500 kg that drive in Norway for business purposes must be equipped with a valid OBE – e.g. BroBizz – when they are driving on public roads. This is quite simply a requirement by the Norwegian authorities.

If the company is a customer with BroBizz A/S and you are going to use BroBizz in Norway for vehicles over 3500 kg, each individual BroBizz must be updated with the following information about the vehicle in which it will be used:

      Registration number

      Vehicle type

      Country code

If a BroBizz is moved to another vehicle, these three details must be updated with BroBizz A/S. The easiest option is to log into My Account at and update the information there.

It is important to do this BEFORE taking the vehicle to Norway, and please be aware that it can take up to 36 hours from the date of registration or update with BroBizz before it is registered in Norway.

If a BroBizz has not been updated with the correct information, the Norwegian authorities will charge a fee of NOK 8000, and for late payments and repeat occurrences the fee will increase significantly.

Environmental discount on the Oslo toll ring

In and around Oslo there are special rules for discounts on environmentally friendly vehicles. Newer lorries and buses with low fuel consumption (Euro 6 classification) are eligible to receive the discount. If you operate vehicles weighing more than 3500 kg, Euro 6 classification, which are driven in Norway, the vehicles must be registered in the BroBizz system, if you wish to claim the discount.

Write to BroBizz Customer Service – – with the following information:

      Customer number

      BroBizz number

      Registration number

      Country of registration

State that the vehicle in question is Euro 6 classification.

You will then be charged the correct price.

  • Austria

In Austria, vehicles over 3500 kg that drive on Austria’s motorways must pay a charge. It is a requirement that the payment is made using a special transmitter (known as an OBE). This requirement applies to all vehicles over 3500 kg, regardless of nationality. It applies to e.g. lorries, buses and motorhomes.

EasyGo+ from BroBizz fully satisfies the requirements set by the Austrian authorities. There is no cost to upgrade an existing BroBizz agreement to EasyGo+ but you must sign up for a supplementary agreement with BroBizz A/S, as special rules apply to toll roads in Austria.

How you make this agreement varies depending on whether you are a private customer who will be driving a motorhome in Austria, or a business customer who will be using EasyGo+ for lorries or buses.

  • Port of Aarhus, Port of Kolding, Port of Vejle

At several Danish ports, access to closed areas of the port is controlled with the aid of BroBizz. Lorries that are picking up or delivering goods and that have an agreement on this with the port can easily and quickly enter and exit the port area with BroBizz in the windscreen.

Access control with BroBizz is administered by the individual ports.

You can use BroBizz as an access pass in the following ports once you have signed up to the agreement:

      Port of Aarhus

      Port of Kolding

      Port of Vejle
