You can get a green discount on the Storebælt Bridge if your vehicles comply with Euro 6, run on electricity or hydrogen. It’s easy to register your vehicle with us to always get the Green discount and the lowest price crossing the Storebælt Bridge.
You must enter the following information in My Account:
These details must be linked to the bizz used for the crossing and correspond to the vehicle that the bizz is installed in.
Checks will be made at the Storebælt Bridge for any discrepancies between the registered information and the actual vehicle. Checks will be carried out in two ways:
Storebælt can carry out an automatic enquiry in the vehicle registration service of the country concerned. The check will take place automatically and you do not need to submit a registration certificate.
Enter your vehicle information in My Account. When you have entered the Number plate, Country code, Vehicle class and Euro standard or fuel type you will get the possible to upload the registration certificate for each vehicle. The button for upload of the registration certificate will only be displayed if you have selected a country, where we need the registration certificate from you.
If it turns out that there are discrepancies, Storebælt A/S is entitled to charge an additional DKK 600 per trip.
The green discount is an instant discount of 13 % per crossing of the Storebælt Bridge. The discount is given on commercial vehicles that as a minimum meet Euro 6 standard or which are hydrogen or electric cars registered for automatic payment and have a Storebælt Business Agreement.
If your vehicle is from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, UK, the Netherlands or Lithuania, you do not have to pay a fee. If your vehicle is from another country, you must pay a one-time fee of DKK 200, as Storebælt has to manually validate your vehicle.
In seven countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, the UK, the Netherlands and Lithuania), Storebælt is able to validate vehicles digitally via the country’s vehicle registration service. This is not possible in any other country, hence the difference between a vehicle from Norway and one from Italy, for example.
Euro 6 is an emissions standard that tells us about the environmental impact of the vehicle. Diesel and petrol cars both have their own Euro emissions standards, which are continuously tightened to include new requirements relating to harmful substances emitted by cars. Information on the vehicle’s Euro emissions standard can be found on the vehicle’s registration certificate. If you are unable to find the information on the registration certificate, please contact the vehicle registration service in your country.
To receive a green discount, you must have a vehicle that meets Euro 6 or is a hydrogen or electric car. You must also have a Storebælt Business Agreement and pay by number plate payment or bizz from Brobizz.
We do not recommend that you do this. In order to receive a green discount, there must be a match between your bizz and the vehicle in which it is located. This is your responsibility.
The government’s commission for the green conversion of passenger cars is currently working on this. Until such time as it releases its proposal, we are unable to comment on green discounts for private customers.
No, there is no green discount on e-bookings. E-booking is not considered automatic payment.
Yes, as a customer you are responsible for entering the correct information with Brobizz A/S. You need to enter the Euro class of your vehicle under ‘My agreements’ in the field ‘Emissions class’.
Hybrid cars also have a Euro emissions standard, and if it is at least Euro emissions standard 6, you can receive a green discount. This information can be found on your registration certificate. When registering the hybrid car, please select ‘Petrol’ and then ‘Hybrid’.
You will pay the list price when you cross the Storebælt Bridge.
