How BroBizz® works
Inside your BroBizz® there is an aerial, which transmits the unique BroBizz number to the tollbooths you pass through. When the tollbooth has received the number, the toll barrier lifts and you can drive through without waiting.
The amount is then deducted on the debit/credit card, which you have associated with the BroBizz in question. You can always view your payments in “My Account”.
If the debit/credit card is not valid, in some places there is a risk that the toll barrier will not lift.
Elsewhere you may later receive a bill. That is why it is important always to keep your debit/credit card updated in “My Account”.
Set BroBizz correctly
For the tollbooth to pick up your BroBizz's signal quickly, it is important to position it correctly:
- Place your BroBizz in the holder, which you receive with your BroBizz.
- Install the holder on the front windscreen, as close as possible to the rear-view mirror.
- When the BroBizz logo is facing you, your BroBizz is positioned correctly
- Remember to position your BroBizz, so it does not interfere with your vision
If you have an extra BroBizz in your car, it is important to keep it in the enclosed foil bag. Otherwise there is a risk that the automatic tollbooth will detect the signal from both devices and you will have to pay twice for the same trip.
A number of cars have heat absorbent or so-called “athermic” windscreens, which can prevent the signal from a GPS or BroBizz from passing through the pane. If this is the case, it is even more important for your BroBizz to be positioned correctly. Often there is a tinted area behind the rear-view mirror, where the BroBizz needs to be placed in order to work. If it is not clear where your BroBizz needs to be positioned, you should check in the car’s manual.
If you do not have a foil bag or a container for your BroBizz, you can always contact Customer Services to get a new one.
